Community Outreach & Partnerships Manager
Key Responsibilities:
β Community Engagement & Event Planning
Organize and facilitate community meetings, workshops, and engagement events to promote housing and small business initiatives.
Develop outreach strategies to increase participation from residents and local organizations.
β Building Partnerships
Cultivate and maintain partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations to support shared goals.
Identify opportunities for collaboration that benefit community development, homeownership, and entrepreneurship.
β Program Promotion & Education
Promote homeownership opportunities, affordable housing programs, and small business support services to community members.
Educate residents and entrepreneurs about available resources, grants, and programs.
β Feedback Collection & Reporting
Gather feedback from community members and stakeholders to assess needs, concerns, and suggestions.
Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on community engagement efforts and program improvements.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
β Experience: At least 3-5 years in community outreach, public relations, or partnership development within a nonprofit, government, or social impact organization.
β Education: Bachelorβs degree in Social Work, Community Development, Public Relations, or a related field (preferred).
β Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage stakeholder relationships.
Strong skills in social media management and public relations to promote events and programs.
β Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build trust.
Strong presentation skills to speak confidently in front of community groups, businesses, and stakeholders.
β Relationship-Building & Networking:
Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders.
Ability to engage and mobilize residents and stakeholders to actively participate in community initiatives.
β Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking:
Ability to identify community needs and implement solutions that improve the success of housing and entrepreneurship programs.
Strong analytical skills to assess community feedback and use data to refine initiatives.
β Passion for Community Development:
Deep commitment to affordable housing, small business support, and community empowerment.
Understanding of the unique needs and challenges of urban neighborhoods and a passion for fostering inclusive growth.
