Revitalizing Urban Communities: Transforming Vacant Blight Starter Homes and Creating Sustainable Office Space for

Local Small Business Growth

As population declines reshape our cities, we believe architecture will lean toward preservation and adaptive reuse—where legacy meets imagination. At Urban Green Homes CRC, we champion affordable, eco-friendly retrofits that uplift communities without erasing their roots. It’s not just about saving buildings—it’s about restoring belonging, dignity, and hope.

Urban Green Homes Community Redevelopment Collective is a community-driven initiative bringing together developers, creatives, and local partners to restore homes, create sustainable workspaces, and revitalize urban neighborhoods.

We are dedicated to advancing eco-friendly, affordable urban housing by transforming vacant and dilapidated starter homes—typically around 1,000 square feet, often with off-street parking—located throughout metropolitan areas across the United States.

These once-neglected properties are reimagined as sustainable, energy-efficient residences designed to reduce costs, support environmental responsibility, and strengthen the communities they serve.

Is there a vacant or dilapidated home next door to you or in your neighborhood that has become an eyesore? With your support, we can help transform these properties into vibrant, eco-conscious homes that enhance the beauty and sustainability of our communities.

In addition to housing redevelopment, our headquarters will be developed as a hub for green office spaces, fostering local small businesses in an eco-friendly environment that promotes collaboration and growth.

Our mission is to increase affordability, resilience, and sustainability in urban communities. With a dedicated network of eco-superheroes—including researchers, builders, and community leaders—we are committed to driving lasting change in the neighborhoods we serve.

Urban Green Homes Community Redevelopment Collective is a community-driven research and redevelopment initiative of Holloman Home Investments LLC, exploring practical ways to make existing urban homes more energy-efficient, sustainable, affordable, and resilient.

What are Urban Starter Homes?

Urban starter homes are typically smaller, more affordable homes located in urban areas. They are designed for first-time homebuyers, young professionals, or small families who are just beginning to build equity and start their journey in homeownership. These homes often focus on maximizing space and efficiency while offering easy access to city amenities, such as transportation, entertainment, and workplaces.

Key features of urban starter homes might include:

  1. Affordability – They are priced lower than larger, more luxurious homes in the same area.

  2. Compact size – Smaller square footage but often with smart layouts to make the most of available space.

  3. Location – Typically found in city neighborhoods that offer proximity to schools, workplaces, shopping, and public transportation.

  4. Modern design – Often have a contemporary look, with energy-efficient features and open layouts.

  5. Less land – These homes may be attached (townhouses, condos) or on smaller lots compared to suburban homes.

Urban starter homes are ideal for people looking to live in a city but at a price point that fits into a starter budget. They serve as a good entry point into homeownership in a rapidly developing or high-demand area.

Our goal is to not only revitalize these homes to make them more affordable but also more sustainable. By transforming urban starter homes, we reduce utility costs and provide individuals and families with a solid foundation for homeownership, helping them thrive in urban communities.

OUR HEADQUARTERS

What is a Coworking Space?

A coworking space is a shared office environment where individuals or small teams from different companies, freelancers, or remote workers work independently or collaboratively in the same space. These spaces typically provide flexible membership options and offer various amenities such as desks, private meeting rooms, high-speed internet, printers, and communal areas like kitchens or lounges.

Coworking spaces are designed to foster creativity, networking, and community, with the added benefit of reducing overhead costs for individuals and small businesses. Instead of renting an entire office, users can pay for the space and services they need, often with the flexibility to scale up or down as required. These spaces are popular among startups, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and even larger organizations that need flexible, temporary office solutions.

With a focus on sustainability and collaboration, we provide the perfect environment to grow your small business while minimizing the environmental impact. Join us soon and be part of a greener future.

Revitalizing Urban Areas: Creating Sustainable and Affordable Housing for a Greener Tomorrow

This initiative, while not entirely unique, is a vital step toward creating eco-friendly, cost-effective housing in urban areas. At Urban Green Homes Community Redevelopment Collective, we believe in the importance of transforming neglected properties into sustainable, energy-efficient homes that benefit both residents and the environment. Our efforts to rejuvenate vacant or dilapidated homes, especially in large metropolitan areas, are crucial for improving the quality of life in these neighborhoods. By focusing on affordability and sustainability, we aim to foster stronger, greener communities.

Supporting our mission means helping to reduce environmental impact while enhancing local economies. Our work goes beyond housing redevelopment—our headquarters will also serve as a hub for green office spaces, nurturing local small businesses and fostering a collaborative environment. Together, we can create urban spaces that are not only affordable but also resilient and eco-conscious, driving lasting positive change for future generations.
