👥 Looking for passionate leaders to guide our mission! Our Board of Directors plays a critical role in shaping the vision and success of Urban Green Homes Community Redevelopment Corporation. We are seeking professionals with expertise in real estate, finance, law, sustainability, and community development.

Board Chair (President) – Leads board meetings, strategic planning, and high-level decision-making.
Vice Chair – Supports the Chair and takes on leadership responsibilities as needed.
Treasurer (Finance Expert) – Oversees financial health, budgeting, and grant compliance.
Secretary (Governance & Compliance) – Maintains meeting records and ensures legal compliance.
Real Estate & Construction Advisor – Provides expertise on property redevelopment and sustainable housing.
Community Engagement Representative – Acts as a voice for local residents and businesses.
Fundraising & Grants Specialist – Supports nonprofit growth through donor and grant strategies.
Legal Advisor (Pro Bono Attorney) – Ensures compliance with housing and nonprofit regulations.
Small Business & Economic Development Expert – Helps build entrepreneurship programs in the coworking space.
🔹 Board Responsibilities:
Provide strategic guidance and governance.
Support fundraising efforts and partnerships.
Oversee nonprofit growth and financial sustainability.
Serve as ambassadors for the organization in the community.
Requirements
✅ Passion for community revitalization, affordable housing, sustainability, and economic development.
✅ Leadership experience in real estate, construction, finance, law, fundraising, business, or nonprofit management.
✅ Ability to dedicate 4-8 hours per month (board meetings, committee work, or advocacy).
✅ Strong networking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
