About the Founder, aka the PC/Laptop/Software Apps User Nerd

Since 1979, the Founder has been navigating the world of personal computing, starting shortly after earning their first associate degree. Their journey has been filled with ups and downs, but persistence paid off as they mastered their PC and embraced technology. From learning how to type (a story in itself!) to becoming proficient with Microsoft software like Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, OneNote, Access, and more, the Founder has developed a unique style of tech know-how that they’re now sharing with others.

The Founder isn’t a tech specialist but knows their way around Microsoft Windows (7, 10, and beyond), various software packages, and even some mobile apps. They’re the go-to person for questions like:

• “How do I do a mail merge in Word?”

• “How do I send an email invite to all my friends?”

• “How can I create invoices and receipts for my pie sales?”

• “How do I save a file and find it later?”

Through their personal, easy-to-understand approach, the Founder can teach you small but impactful tasks, such as:

• Creating recipes using Microsoft Word templates.

• Writing business letters or mail merge documents for your community group.

• Staying connected with family and friends on Facebook.

The Founder’s passion for using their PC shines through their many websites and Facebook pages. While still refining their skills with video applications (YouTube included!), their enthusiasm and practical advice make learning with them fun and approachable.
